A good home theater is mostly decisions made before anything is mounted: where the screen sits relative to the seats, where the speakers go so dialogue comes from the picture, and how the wires get from the equipment to every corner without showing. We plan those with you in the room, then install, wire and calibrate the whole system so it works from one remote on day one.
Planned around the room you have
Most San Gabriel Valley theaters are converted bonus rooms, family rooms and garages rather than purpose-built rooms. We measure the space, look at the windows and the seating distance, and size the screen or projector to it — not the other way round. If a projector makes sense we'll say so; if the room gets too much afternoon light, a large TV is usually the better buy.
Equipment from brands you know
We install and set up gear from Samsung, Sony, Denon, Yamaha and Sonos, among others. If you already own a receiver or speakers you like, we can build around them. If you are starting from scratch, we'll put together a system that fits the room and the budget and explain what each piece is doing.
Wiring that disappears
Speaker wire, HDMI and network runs go inside walls, ceilings and attics wherever the construction allows, with clean wall plates at the equipment and the speakers. Where a run can't go in the wall, we use paintable raceway so it blends in rather than draping across the floor.
Calibrated and handed over properly
Once everything is connected we set speaker levels and distances, check picture settings, and program the remote or app control. Before we leave, we walk you through turning it on, switching sources and getting back to normal if someone presses the wrong button.
